  • Viking Motors was ranked among the 30 best car dealers in Europe and won the award for the best KIA dealer in the Baltics.

  • The Viimsi shopping and leisure centre was opened.

  • The shoe stores Suurtüki NK OÜ (later SHU) and AS ABC King were acquired.
  • TKM Beauty Eesti was founded to operate beauty shops.

  • AS Viking Motors was acquired, sales operations in Estonia and sales and service of Opel and Cadillac cars were started.
  • Kaubamaja AS, TKM Beauty, which distributes beauty products, Topsec Turvateenused OÜ, which provides security services, and Kulinaaria OÜ, which covers the production of prepared food and catering services, were established with the aim of reorganizing the structure of the group’s companies.
  • Selver was the first in Estonia to offer the electronic self-service cash register system SelveEkspress in supermarkets and hypermarkets.

  • Kaubamaja’s security service (now Viking Security AS) was established.

The extension of Tallinn Department Store was opened in Viru Centre.

The first Partner Card was issued, which replaced the current Kaubamaja customer card and merged Selver and Kaubamaja into a joint loyalty program.

Kaubamaja became a member of the global department store organization IGDS.

Tallinna Kaubamaja Kinnisvara AS was founded.

1996
  • Tallinna Kaubamaja AS acquired 57% of the shares of AS Tartu Kaubamaja.
  • The shares of Tallinna Kaubamaja AS were listed as the first company in the Baltics on the main list of the Tallinn Stock Exchange.

Tallinna Kaubamaja AS started expanding and the first supermarket was opened – Punane Selver.

RAS Tallinna Kaubamaja was transformed into a public limited company, the majority shares were sold to E-Investeeringugrup.
